Suntree Launches ‘Concerts in the Park’ Series
First of Sunday family-friendly music events March 27th at Spyglass Hill Park 

(Suntree, FL) March 14, 2011 – Suntree will launch its “Concerts in the Park” series with a free performance by the Space Coast Swing Ensemble at 3 PM on Sunday, March 27th at 7550 Spyglass Hill Road, 32940.  Marion Scott will conduct the 18-member Space Coast Swing Ensemble in A Big Band Odyssey.  Concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the free musical performance. The free music events are one more enhancement for the Suntree quality of life, according to the General Manager of the Suntree Master Homeowners Association, Frank Kneiser.

ABOUT THE (featured) COMMUNITY BAND OF BREVARD AND THE SPACE COAST SWING ENSEMBLE: Formed in 1985, the Community Band of Brevard and its Space Coast Swing Ensemble provide six or more free, high-quality public concerts each year. Musical selections include classical, jazz, show tunes, contemporary music, big band arrangements, and original compositions. ABOUT THE (Presenting Partner) SPACE COAST SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA: The SCSO is a lively and passionate Central Florida professional-level orchestra comprised of professional musicians and select youth players.
