

Ronnamarie Jensen began playing the violin at the age of 5. She earned both her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Music Performance from the University of Arkansas. She has performed with The Arkansas Symphony and served as Principal Second Violin in the North Arkansas Symphony and Fort Smith Symphony. In addition, she held the position of Concertmaster of the Opera in the Ozarks Orchestra in 2004 and 2005. She moved to Chicago in 2005, where she performed as a free-lance musician in many of the regional orchestras, and held the position of Associate Principal Second Violin of the South Bend Symphony Orchestra. Before moving to Orlando, she was first violinist of the Azalea String Quartet for the Holland America Cruiseline. She has been living in the Orlando area for the past two years and performing with various orchestras including the Orlando Philharmonic and the Brevard Symphony. She will be leaving the area in Fall 2010 to continue her position as Associate Principal Second Violin in the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra and will be working for their education outreach program.
