Galmont Ballet

Established in 2003 by international Ballet Master and Choreographer Frank Galvez, and international Ballet Mistress and Coach Lucia Montero, GALMONT BALLET CENTRE FOR DANCE EDUCATION has been providing quality dance instruction to dancers of all ages and interests for the last 7 years, offering a comprehensive dance curriculum, performance opportunities, and summer programs. Here we share our passion for this beautiful art form so open and sincerely. Our students energy is inspirational. Our role as Directors has grown so has our inspiration. We are constantly reminded of how fortunate we are to share this art form with the young artists of tomorrow. Over the past 7 years we have had the privilege to watch the remarkable growth and development of this school. The Galmont Ballet Centre for Dance Education remains committed to the highest possible standards of excellence, while having the greatest respect for the individual, as a person, an artist, and a creative spirit. Galmont Ballet Centre for Dance Education is the official training ground of the Galmont Ballet Youth Company. We aim to give our students the best possible preparation, to enable them to achieve excellence in classical ballet, and provide a happy, caring, suppor-tive and professional environment. GALMONT BALLET YOUTH COMPANY is committed to producing exquisitely staged productions as well as presenting the best in contemporary choreography. We strive to introduce new audiences to the magic of ballet, and to make the experience more available and accessible to all. Led by Frank Galvez and Lucia Montero, the Company is also committed to the nurturing of new talent and provides an essential training ground for serious young dancers. Since 2008, we have been honored to present our performing season at The Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse as their official Resident Ballet Company, where Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer Frank Galvez creates performances full of unexpectedness, rhythm, and thrilling dance, for a stage that brings a feeling of intimacy to the relationship between the audience and the per-formers. This season we welcome back a selection of old favorites plus a number of premiere ballets. As always, our aim is to create a varied and challenging selection of ballets with wide-ranging appeal - and this year is no exception. From the seasonal favorite "The American Nutcracker" - many people's first experience of ballet  to one of our mixed programs offering the audience an evening that challenges traditional perceptions of ballet, we have catered for all tastes.

Space Coast Oratorio Society

The Space Coast Oratorio Society was formed in 2008, following the passing of the late Dr. Vernon Boushell. For many years Dr. Boushell had produced, directed and conducted annual oratorios at Riverside Presbyterian Church. These concerts had presented many of the finest choral masterworks of Handel, Mendelssohn, Beethoven, and others of the highest rank from the sacred and classical repertoire. Many churches, singers and musicians from various churches along the Space Coast shared their talents in these presentations. The vision of the Space Coast Oratorio Society is to continue Dr Boushell’s legacy -- and to further his vision -- by continuing to present to the people of Florida’s Space Coast communities music of an enduring and uplifting nature. The facilities of Riverside Church will continue to host these concerts, incorporating the talents of many participating churches, singers and musicians. We trust you will be nurtured and spiritually uplifted by the beautiful and timeless music of these concerts under the musical and artistic direction of Maestro Aaron Collins. We cordially invite you to return in the coming months to enjoy other programmed concerts in this series.
