The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra is committed to changing lives through music’s extraordinary power to communicate, and thus inspire, uplift, educate and entertain. We are dedicated to challenging classical performance boundaries by offering fresh interpretations of the great masterworks as well as the discovery of new and unusual works. Above all, every performance must connect with our audience.  Music at its best is a shared experience between performer and the listener.  

Our mission has three inseparable parts:

To provide a sustainable orchestra to professional and talented members of the musical community.
To present live performances and live music education programs that are easily accessible throughout our community.

To cultivate awareness, knowledge and enjoyment of music.
To make professional level concerts affordable to all in our community.
To support music education opportunities for people of all ages.  All students, 18 & under are admitted free to all Space Coast Symphony Orchestra events.  

► The community focus of our mission:

To emphasize the universal language of music which speaks to all cultures
To establish and strengthen connections between the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra and our entire region.
To establish partnerships with other musical ensembles and collaborate with area businesses. 
By bringing Space Coast Symphony Orchestra musicians together with a variety of groups in our community.
