Whether it's a pair of shorts or a ball gown, please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. At most Space Coast Symphony Orchestra concerts you'll see a majority of concert-goers in business casual attire.
Plan to arrive 20 - 30 minutes before the concert is scheduled to begin. Patrons obtaining tickets at Will Call are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes early. Ticketholders who arrive after the concert begins will be seated in the auditorium only during appropriate pauses in the music.
We encourage you to bring your children. Children eighteen years of age and younger are admitted free to all performances.
Cameras, Audio and Visual Recorders
The use of cameras or audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited unless permission is granted prior to a performance.
Cell Phones, Beepers & Watch Alarms
No one wants to be that person! Please take a moment to turn off your cellular phones, beepers and watch alarms prior to the performance.

For the comfort and listening pleasure of the audience in the auditorium, late-arriving patrons will not be seated while music is being performed. Latecomers will be seated at appropriate pauses in the performance.

Services for Patrons With Disabilities
All performance facilities meet the criteria established by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Requests for accommodations should be made when purchasing tickets. Feedback on improving patron services for people with disabilities is always welcome.
All performance facilites are smoke-free buildings. Smoking is permitted in designated areas outside.

Here are a few hints for newcomers who may be unsure about when to applaud at a concert: Once the performance begins, you'll notice in your program book that many musical works have multiple movements or sections. While a short pause often follows each movement, it is customary to refrain from applauding during these pauses. After the final movement of a work, the conductor will turn around, a sure sign that it's time to applaud.
Can I buy food or drinks at the performance?
During some events, there are concessions available in the Main Lobby. If you want a quick bite before the concert, consider our recommendations. You may also join Maestro Aaron Collins and the musicians of the Space Coast Symphony for the After Party at a local restaurant following each concert. Free bottled water is available at all performances.
How long is a typical performance?
Most Space Coast Symphony Orchestra performances are about two hours, including one 20-minute intermission.
Where can I learn about the music before the concert?
Program notes are provided in the program book you receive from the ushers upon entering the concert hall. Browse our concert's page on our website — for select performances you will find program notes, audio samples other educational materials.
What if I'm unable to attend my performance?
All single ticket sales for non-subscribers are final.
If you will miss a performance, you may donate your ticket back to the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra and receive a donation receipt. Please contact us at 321.536.8580 at your earliest convenience.
