“Symphonic Samplings” at Black Tulip April 17th
Evening with Space Coast Symphony features fine dining, entertainment
The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra hosted an evening of “Symphonic Samplings” on Sunday, April 17th for about 100+ fans at the Black Tulip restaurant in Cocoa Village from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. The evening featured jazz and ensemble entertainment, raffles, giveaways and a silent auction valued at over $15,000 -- in addition to delicious buffet dining and desserts. Event proceeds went toward expanding the orchestra’s music education and community outreach programs.
The Dogbone Sextet played an energetic set of Dixieland music, made more amazing by the fact the group had performed the same afternoon at Suntree’s Concert in the Park. One of the biggest hits of the evening (at least for this attendee) were the unimaginably delicious and decadent chocolate peanut butter brownies by dessert sponsor Bob Evans.
